Great design starts with the users. Great user research starts with adapting, tweaking and inventing new methods to understand people in the context of their environment. As the co-founder and VP of operations of EchoUser, I love making this a reality at EchoUser and I’m constantly ignited by helping companies design their next innovations.

Rally has quite the varied background - he's a designer with an engineering background, an American and a Canadian, and a fan of both dogs AND cats. He found his niche in user experience design where he gets to study people and then design things that will make their experiences as amazing as possible.

Kimra, an unabashed eavesdropper, thrives on learning what people love and hate about interacting with the world - and how to make it better. As a former journalist, crime reporter & TV blogger, she's passionate about exploring connections people make through technology.

With a background in sociology/anthropology and a masters from the UC Berkeley School of Information, Noah is ever curious about how people and technology meet, mix, and evolve together, and ultimately how those interactions can be improved.

As a kid, Laura always loved both problem solving and dreaming big. Over time she realized that a career in design would allow her to do just that, all day long! She's convinced that great design will make the world a happier place, and is always looking for ways to make experiences more elegant and meaningful.

Carol combines her interaction design, research, and technical expertise to create great user experiences for EchoUser's clients. She loves how the marriage of art and insight can pare down even the most complex of workflows into simple, delightful ones. She spends her evenings and weekends hiking, kayaking, and running through the Bay Area, falling asleep on the beach, reading with her unbelievably fluffy cat, and translating books into hilariously broken Chinese for her daughter Chloe.

With a background in design and business, Wan-Ting enjoys designing beautiful interfaces to solve complex business problems. Born and raised in Taiwan, she is now continuing to hone her craft in the Bay Area as a designer with a fresh pair of eyes.

Born and raised in the Great White North, Joanne has a background in healthcare - work ranging from coordinating clinical programs to working in healthcare human factors. Now transplanted to the Bay Area, Joanne decided to pursue her love for design. Joanne has a strong passion in how design, UX, and technology can interact together to create innovative work.

Hailing from Michigan, Amelia is a storyteller with a fervor to engage users on all levels from emotional to functional. Outside of work, she is a devoted outdoorswoman and maker of things. Hidden Talent Hunting animals and turning them into tasty food, drawing comics, memorizing song lyrics

With a background in Journalism and a masters in Human-Computer Interaction, Yi-Ying always has a passion for people and a genuine curiosity about the world around her. Yi-Ying believes design thinking can be applied to a variety of disciplines and is hoping to use her design skills to solve complex social problems in the future.

Having played the roles of art director, manager, production and lead designer, for projects in branding, environment, packaging, mobile, web, apparel, UI and UX, Kori offers a well-rounded disposition. Her view of design is to not only use the tool to make an object or idea aesthetically appealing. Rather, she sees the discipline as a way of solving problems, and concentrates on figuring out the “why” of a project, not just how to make it pretty.

An architect-turned-designer, Kenny has a passion for creating from square foot to pixel. Kenny revels in the design process and strives to find ways to inform, captivate and delight people in all that they experience.

Seiko is on a quest to make the world a happier place through User Experience Design. She grew up in Japan and her love for travel brought her to San Francisco. Her early career in the Hospitality Management taught her the power of empathy which she now finds invaluable in creating better customer experiences using UX tools and processes. Seiko is a strong advocate of wearable technology and mobile applications as they open up amazing new experiences for users.

Yalu is a UX designer exploring possibilities of the world.

Mr Boaz is passionate about creating technology that transforms the way people live and work. He combines his academic background in ethnography with his professional background as a program manager at Microsoft to help product teams focus on high-priority user needs.

Aria, dual wielding backgrounds in psychology and human-computer interaction, explores the ever-evolving relationship between man and machine. Focusing on human behavior and cognition, he helps create satisfying experiences. He is also hella excited to be back in the Bay!
