The Weekly Echo 12/2

Back from stuffing ourselves silly over Thanksgiving, The Weekly Echo returns! Here's what we've been reading as the calendar clicked over to December. This little printer — known as Little Printer! — that delivers a personalized "newspaper" of digital content the size of a store receipt definitely had us buzzing this week. Look what the same company did with a similar idea five years ago! It's quite the evolution. An interesting sidenote to Little Printer: Russell Davies revisits his ideas of Post Digital life and why physical matter should still, er, matter. Another physical/digital mash-up: Virgin America's taken its RED in-flight entertainment system and installed it as a physical kiosk at San Francisco International Airport. But can I pre-order a drink to my seat? Finally: We're obviously always thinking about innovation and evolution, whether for ourselves or for our clients. Here's an interesting take on great companies innovating "just enough" — not too little, but also not too much.
