Thou shalt not let me #fail
Wow. Google+ just violated one of the biggest tenets of user experience:
thou shalt not let me make mistakes with your software. This is a problem every software company has to deal with, but it's especially important with social networks, and you'd think that Google learned its lesson after the
Google Buzz debacle.
So imagine my surprise when Google+ asks me if I want to message a friend who just added me to her circles (which is fine) - but when I click through and start writing my message, it
automatically adds everyone in the same subgroups of circles to the message:
Damn. Since Google+ is a social network, what if I'd written something, oh, I don't know, personal? I would've potentially looked like an ass in front of half a dozen people, not to mention pissed off Kai (cool as she is).
Google, get your sh*t together on the social front please! Mkay, thanks.
